Cluj School of Public Health (C-SPH) is an innovative research focused program with full English educational track in public health – BA, MPH, PhD in Cluj, Romania. This is the only Public Health program taught completely in English in the entire Central and Eastern Europe.
Cluj School of Public Health is formed from the Department of Public Health (educational wing) and the Center for Health Policy and Public Health (research wing), within the College of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences of Babes-Bolyai University – the biggest and highest ranked university from Romania.
In accordance with this, the SPH program was designed in order to prepare independent professionals in the field of Public Health at the highest standards.
The program is customized so as to cover every aspect of Public Health’s field, but is also allowing students to focus on their area of interest.
This way, the program brings an interdisciplinary approach on Public Health tackling five major fields: Health Policy and Management, Social and Behavioral Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, and Environmental Health.
The program also gives students the opportunity to transform knowledge into practice through community oriented programs and activities, guided by supportive and dedicated professors and mentors.
The National Research Council
The National Research Council (Cnr) is the largest public research institution in Italy, the only one under the Research Ministry performing multidisciplinary activities.
Founded as legal person on 18 November 1923, Cnr’s mission is to perform research in its own Institutes, to promote innovation and competitiveness of the national industrial system, to promote the internationalization of the national research system, to provide technologies and solutions to emerging public and private needs, to advice Government and other public bodies, and to contribute to the qualification of human resources.
In the Cnr's research world, the main resource is the available knowledge which means people, with their skills, commitment and ideas. This capital comprises more than 8.000 employees, of whom more than half are researchers and technologists. Some 4.000 young researchers are engaged in postgraduate studies and research training at Cnr within the organization’s top-priority areas of interest. A significant contribution also comes from research associates: researchers, from Universities or private firms, who take part in Cnr’s research activities.
Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra- Faculty of Education
Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (Univerzita Konštantína Filozofa v Nitre, abbrev. UKF in Slovak) has been formed as a modern European general university where dominant role is played by science, spiritual quality, high professionalism, pedagogical mastery, open and vivid communication both within local environment and within the world.
It offers a variety of study programmes at bachelor, master and doctoral level, providing strong flexibility, innovation and diversity. In addition to its strong tradition in training of teachers for primary and secondary schools, UKF also offers study programmes for future social workers, experts for cultural organizations and institutions, political scientists, catechists, journalists, archaeologists, historians, musicologists, biologists, environmentalists, mathematicians, physicists, computer scientists, psychologists, gemmologists and other professionals.
The uniqueness of UKF in education is represented by teacher training programmes in Hungarian language tailor made for future teachers in the ethnically mixed areas of Slovakia and the training of teachers, social workers and public education for Roma ethnicity. The University also organizes lifelong learning courses, especially in form of supplementary/additional study as well as courses of Interest study at the University of the Third Age.
Sports University of Tirana
Sports University of Tirana is the only institution of higher education on physical education and sports in Albania. The University provides all scientific qualification programmes on physical education and sports: Bachelor, Master and Doctoral School.
The existence of Sports University of Tirana dates back to the year 1948 under the status of Physical Education Technicum being the first physical education high school. During years Sport University of Tirana has gone through structural and statutory changes until 2010, when by decision of the Council of Ministers, no.123 dated 17/02/2010 the institution receives the statute of University being nominated as the University of Sports Tirana (UST).
Since 1958 to the present Sports University of Tirana has been the only institution in Albania that can graduate Teachers and Specialists, Trainers, and Researcher in the field of Physical Education and Sports.

University of Southern Denmark
University of Southern Denmark (SDU) was established in 1998 and is the third largest university in Denmark with five faculties, 3360 employees and 26000 students located at five campuses. SDU has a strong international perspective and functions in partnership with regional public and private sectors.
As part of the Health Sciences Faculty, the Department of Public Health consists of 10 research units and centers, among them the Unit for Health Promotion, located at Campus Esbjerg. The research staff profile of the Health Promotion Unit currently consists of 28 employees from various scientific backgrounds including, for instance, public health, sociology, psychology and medicine. Main Unit activities in Denmark focus on 1) epidemiological research on social and behavioral determinants of health with a focus on social inequality, 2)evidence-based and effective interventions to promote health in different settings, among them educational institutions such as schools, and 3)health impact assessments of international and national policies with a focus on development of health. The Unit coordinates and contributes to the BSc and MSc curricula in Public Health as well as to PhD training in Denmark. In addition, in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, unit coordinates BSc in Health education and health promotion and BSc in Epidemiology.
